Reward Terms

FocusNest thanks participants for their time and feedback by offering rewards to those who complete qualifying sessions. These Reward Terms explain what rewards are available, who is eligible, how they are delivered, and the rules that apply.

By participating in a FocusNest session with an associated reward, you agree to these Reward Terms. These terms supplement our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which also apply.

1. What Rewards Are Available

Rewards vary by session and may include one or more of the following:

• Gift cards — Digital gift cards to major national retailers (such as Amazon, Visa, or similar). Specific retailer and value will be communicated at the time of your session invitation.
• Local discounts — Promotional offers from local businesses or service providers in your area. Discount terms are set by the provider and are subject to their own conditions.
• Giveaway entries — Entries into periodic prize drawings. Entry does not guarantee a prize; winners are selected at random from eligible participants.

The specific reward offered for each session will be stated in your session invitation. FocusNest reserves the right to change reward types and values across different sessions.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a reward, you must meet all of the following criteria:

• Complete the full session. You must attend the session from start to finish. Participants who arrive significantly late, leave early, or are removed for conduct issues are not eligible.
• Meet engagement standards. You must participate meaningfully during the session — answering questions, contributing to discussion, and engaging in good faith. Participants who are non-responsive, distracted, or fail to engage substantively may be disqualified at the facilitator's discretion.
• One reward per session per person. Each individual may receive one reward per session attended, regardless of household. Duplicate redemptions or coordinated attempts to claim multiple rewards for a single session will be disqualified.
• Meet general eligibility. You must meet all eligibility requirements in our Terms of Use, including being an adult homeowner.

3. How Rewards Are Delivered

Rewards are delivered digitally to the email address you provided when you applied:

• Reward delivery typically occurs within 30 days after your session date
• Gift cards will be sent as a digital code via email
• Local discount codes or offers will be emailed with redemption instructions
• Giveaway winners will be notified by email and announced on a rolling basis

It is your responsibility to provide an accurate email address and to check your inbox (including spam folders). FocusNest is not responsible for undelivered rewards caused by incorrect contact information or full/blocked inboxes.

If you have not received your reward within 35 days of your session, contact us and we will investigate.

4. No Cash Value

Gift card rewards are issued at face value and are not redeemable for cash. Rewards have no cash equivalent and may not be exchanged, transferred, or combined with other offers except as permitted by the specific gift card or offer terms.

Giveaway prizes are awarded as described in the applicable drawing and are not substitutable or transferable.

Rewards are non-transferable. They are issued to the individual participant and may not be reassigned to another person.

5. Abuse Prevention

Rewards are intended to thank genuine participants for their honest time and input. The following actions will void your reward eligibility and may result in removal from the FocusNest program:

• Providing false information on your application or during a session (including misrepresenting homeownership status)
• Attempting to register multiple times or under different identities to claim additional rewards
• Participating in a session with the sole intent of collecting a reward without genuine engagement
• Coordinating with others to manipulate session outcomes or reward distribution
• Any other conduct that violates the spirit or letter of these Reward Terms or our Terms of Use

FocusNest reserves the right to withhold, revoke, or reclaim rewards if we determine that abuse or misrepresentation has occurred, even after a reward has been issued.

6. No Guarantee of Rewards

Reward availability is not guaranteed for every session. Session invitations will clearly state whether a reward is associated with that specific session. Some sessions may be offered without rewards, and FocusNest may change reward availability at any time.

The availability of specific reward types (gift cards, local discounts, giveaway entries) depends on session sponsorship and may vary by location, date, and session topic. FocusNest makes no guarantee that any particular type of reward will be offered for any given session.

7. Tax Responsibility

Participants are solely responsible for any tax obligations that may arise from receiving rewards. FocusNest does not provide tax advice. If the aggregate value of rewards you receive in a calendar year meets applicable reporting thresholds, we may be required to issue tax documentation.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Reward Terms at any time. Changes apply to sessions occurring after the updated effective date. If you have already confirmed attendance for a session, the reward terms communicated in your session invitation will apply to that session.
